Is it a sin to masturbate? this is a serious question?

Do you think it is a sin to masturbate? Should there be any curcomstances for it being a sin and not? Do you mastubate? How often to do? Do you think how you do it its ok, if yes what are you resonings for your belief? When did you first start? Do you think its humanly possible for someone not to? Thanks for your help. Im really stuck on this, me and my friends were having a discussing earlier today on this mater and I would like to hear other peoples feedback.

In the christian religion, the only recognized sins are those spelled out clearly int he ten commandments. All of the other so-called rules and prohibitions in the bible are merely the laws of man thus they cannot be considered sins. Thus, only those hwo choose to render their own interpretation of the bible would deem masturbation a sin. However to do so is not in keeping wiht the law of god and that in itself might be a pretty naughty thing to do since one is passing their own beliefs off as the word of god.

And, yes I masturbate, I have been doing it since I hit puberty and will continue to do it.

And the only people who claim to not have never masturbated are either too young or they like lying. hehe
