Sounds like a chiropractic condition. I would go to your local doctor of chiropractic and see what's going on. They'll diagnose you and then probably start treatment.

I know what you mean by pins and needles..but i forgot the medical name for it. It is caused by sitting against something like a hard backed chair which presses on a nerve and stopping circulation. Before sitting down...do some shoulder exercise like rolling and shrugging.

Could it be trapped nerves..I suffer with trapped nerves in my neck and this causes right shoulder pain that sends some sort of electric shock down my arms and numbness in my fingers

If you have doubts about your health it's best to see a doctor but it wouldn't hurt you to check your posture whilst you are using the computer.

Sciatica or arthritis,get checked by doctor,they are both very painful!
