My fiance and I are getting married next February and want to have a small inimate wedding on Grouse Mountain, Vancouver where we got engaged. However, his mother has an assault felony from several years ago- would she not be able to attend??

Recently in order to get into Canada or Mexico all Americans are required to have a passport. If your soon to be mother-in-law can get a passport issued she should have no problem, but you can probably call the state department and find out.

anyone with a felony cannot get in to Canda a bunch of friends of mine went there recently and one of the people with us was turned away because of prior felonies

probably not. unless she sneeks across. possibly take a submarine from seattle to vancouver. rent a car and drive the rest of the way.
