Could I go to the hopsital emergency room and get a prescription for an infection? I really dont know what to go :( it really hurts, and im only 19, and no noone in my family is going to help pay. I am married and my husband makes about 20,000 a year and im unemployed

This is what they do in my ER---If you really do have an infection they will write you a perscription for an antibiotic and give you Tylenol. We have a huge problem with people attempting to get pain killers for their so-called toothaches, so docs are extremely cautious.

About the bill though...The hospital can get you set up on payment plans. Here a local pharmacy offers free generic antibiotics.

Well, I am no dentist but you mentioned that they are "coming through". You just might be "teething." When my 3 came through 5 years ago, I experiences what you mentioned. Also, it could be that they are impacted and are affecting your other molars back there. I know it would cost money but you might want to go to a dentist and get an x-ray and cleaning. The longer you wait, the more pain and problems might start.

Check and see if you qualify for medicaid. Most of the time medicaid covers extractions. Also more dental offices are now offering their own dental insurance or payment programs.

you probably can get antibiotics from the hospital, but unless you take care of that tooth it will reinfect.
