My one year old eats basically anything we eat. I just chop it up fine for her. She loves potatoes so even a bake potato is fine with her. Usually eggs or dry cereal in the morning. She likes chicken and stars. Usually canned soup or mac and cheese for lunch. Also PB&J, grilled cheese, PB and marshmellow, and chicken nuggets. Then whatever we eat for dinner. My doctor told me she will go in spurts with eating habits. She won't eat for a day and then eat everything for a couple of days. The doctor said this will go on til she's about one. Because the most important thing is her motor skills and learning news things. Her minds on that instead of eating. Good luck with whatever you decide.

This sounds sick but it is quick to make and kids tend to LOVE it. It's a great way to introduce fish into their diet and your 1 year old will go nuts for it!

INGREDIENTS
1 filet of any fish, unbreaded, cooked
1/8 c 2% or whole milk
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 cup mashed peas
1/8 c mashed carrots
1/8 c mashed potatoes

Put ingredients in blender, blend until creamed.

My son is 14 mths, he is very fussy & picky... I started off with rice cereal when he was 5 mths & congee (plain)....
Nowadays I feed him normal food, practically anything and everything from rice, noodles, buns, cakes, cookies... dont force your child to eat what they dont like

Depending on how old, get a grinder and give them whatever you make for yourself. I did that with all three of mine and none of them grew up picky eaters.

i am not sure what your normal diet is, but my sister feeds my neice anything they are eating. she will eat pasta, veggies (especially tomatoes), fruits, she eats some meats but she doesn't have but 4 teeth. basically anything she can chew and hopefully not allergic to. if she is tired of eating something, she will let you know.
