I walked by my cat yesterday while he was laying on the couch.. and he started to scream at me. He was holding his leg awkwardly and screaming his head off. I massaged his leg.. and he seemed fine. I can touch it anywhere, anytime.. and he never so much as flinches. He was fine.. so i thought maybe it was jut a spasm or something?
He was walking down the hall about 5 minutes later, and he fell over screaming.. holding his legg weird. Same thing.. i massaged it, and picked him back up on his feet and he seemed fine. It's strange. Ii'm so worried!!!!! I have no idea what is going on. This cat is my world. :(

If he has been outside or around any kind of antifreeze he could have a sudden kidney failure. Those are the symptoms our cat died of when it had drank antifreeze from a neighbors car. When cats have kidney problems they will not be able to use their back legs normally and will have urination problems, and can also "pass out" and cry in pain.
Take it to the vet immediately, regardless if the kidneys are the problem or not. Better safe than sorry if you love your cat as much as you say .
our cat was like that in spurts at first like what you are describing, and then it became constant which is when we took him to the vet.
Another user mentioned something about leg cramps which could also be a possiblity that i agree with. I would watch for other symptoms or worsening symptoms of kidney failure if you are short on cash at the moment to make sure. Continue to watch its drinking and urinating patterns and make sure that isn't changing .
Good luck!

If this happened yesterday and this cat is " your world " then stop waiting here for a miracle and get on the phone to your vet .
It could be anything from a pinched nerve to a stroke .
or it just jumped down the wrong way
hopefully it was just a char lee horse and he will be fine .. try playing with him as in throwing something for him to chase and see if it happens again .. and if it does DO NOT PASS GO .... DO NOT COLLECT $200.00 go directly to an animal clinic

keep us posted and good luck

Take him to the vet if there is nothing phyisically wrong it might just trying to get your attention by faking a injury, like a child might do to get out of school or get extra attention. Many animals have inteligence that match young children.

Please bring your cat to a vet immediately! I was watching the news and there is a big recall on pet food for cats and dogs. It was stressed if a person's pet is not acting normally, to go to a vet immediately! I added a link for you to look at.

Sounds like his leg is cramping, most likely a dietary deficiency. Get him to the vet.
