it's all about faith, and possibly there is no way to tell whether someone was born gay through spirit or if it is caused through their upbringings

It depends A LOT on who you talk to. There is scientific evidence that homosexuality is determined partly by genetics and partly by environmental factors- either way, it isn't really a choice. So the question is does God expect you to remain celibate if you are homosexual or not? Some Christians point to bible verses that they say prove engaging in homosexual acts is a sin, other Christians take those same verses and say that in the original Greek, it really was referring to pedophiles and other immoral sexual behavior that is not necessarily homosexuality. So that's the long way of saying, I have no idea. I'm a Christian as well and this topic confuses me- I have gay friends and I'm not into the hellfire and brimstone approach to homosexuality, because we're supposed to love our neighbors, not condemn and judge them. So I don't know. I would say that a person doesn't go to hell just because they're gay- it depends whether or not they know Christ. After that- the topic just confuses me.

what do you think and fell??? If you have relationship w/ God then the Holy Spirit will guide you to the right answer to that. It does say that men are not to lay w/ men and woman not to lay w/ woman. It is a sin if you do it and you know it is wrong!! Religion or Spiritual ...this is something you are going to have to talk to God about. I would only want the answer from the Man that controls wither I go to Hell forever!!!

No one is born "gay". It is a lifestyle choice. Its not up to me to say if you are or are not going to hell, Only God can judge you. If you are prone to homosexual behavior, there are those that can help. Prayer is a good start. Ask God to lead you in the right choice and then believe that he is gonna come thru for you. I can only tell you to read Liviticus 18:22. The same passage applies to both men and women. I pray that God will give you your answer soon. God bless.

Ok I know somewhere is laviticus (not sure on the spelling of that) it says that man shall not lay with another man as he would a women. Same thing about laying with a beast. The penalty is death or something like that.
So unless you are one of those people who just pick and choose the happy parts of religious texts then yes you go to hell for being gay.
But! It says nothing about a woman laying with another woman. Interesting, eh?

I thinkk religus leaders just say that to controle people.
If heavun is only for the pious and hell is for the gays, wild people, independunt thinkers, blasphemers, those who challenge athority and sinners, i wuld much prefer the companie of hell. You know the partys wuld be bettrrer

Before you even want to mention the word "chromosome"...Ask your self this question: "Do I even know what it means genetically in details?" If you say, DNA is part of chromosome...Well yes, but not enough to support the scope of your question.

My wife is a medical doctor. she Say's it's in the genes, and it can"t be helped, she"s also Catholic. I'm more of a realist, I don"t believe in Hell, so the hell with it. Stop wondering and get on with your hypothetical life.

I would think that being a christian you know that you meet your maker when you get there. If you have been a caring, honest, helpful person, why wouldn't you get thru the pearly gates?

Well not to get too biblical here but basically the Bible says man and woman are supposed to be together. So according to that you will. But no one REALLY knows.
