I've been asking qs on here on hw to get my ex back & thanks to all who have answered! We broke up a week ago after two yr relationship. He said he still wants to be friends and a couple of days after asked me msn if he could still teach me guitar (not that he did when we went out). We argued about this and he hasnt mentioned it since. I want us to get back together but don't want to ask him because im scared... do u think its a bad idea if i ask him about him teaching me guitar or should i drop a hint? just to see what he says & if he still wants to. Do you think this could bring us closer to being back together... we are going on holiday soon with friends and he seems happy about this. What are the signs that he misses me and that he wants to get back with me? :(

You shouldn't use the guitar lessons as an excuse to get together with him. You are being dishonest if you say that you want lessons and then you start talking about the past or some other part of your relationship....its not fair to him. If you broke up, I am not sure why he would agree to do the lessons, but regardless, I think you should keep those things separate.

I'm sorry you're hurt by the break up. One thing you need to consider, he's not going to take you back until he's ready. He'll keep turning you down. Also, I don't think the guitar thing is gonna fly with him. He'll probably eventually figure it out.....which may make matters far worse. Just remember that you have a life too....and you can't wait around forever for him to decide. So my advice to you, is to just come out and ask him if he intends on getting back with you. If not, then don't wait around hoping for a change of heart... move on. Please consider this also....he may already be looking at another girl to be with. Be prepared. I wish you the best of luck.

well from what i read it does seem like he still wants to be with you, but i could be wrong, when it comes down to this you just need to talk to him about everything. i dont reccomend dropping hints or playing around with this subject, because i know that im horrible with hints. just be honest about it, and if he isnt a total a** hole then he should be cool about talking to you about all of it. as for him teaching you gituar, i say go for it, that is a great way to bond in a non-relationship kind of way, try maybe telling him that you dont want anyone else to teach you except him.
and the whole weekend thing, it will definetly give you an oppurtunity to talk to him face to face.

Kay----go ahead and sign up for guitar lessons from him-----if the romance and attraction is still there soon the strings won't be the only thing getting strummed.---Good Luck
