women always say they find older guys more attractive, but then how come most women in their late 20s or older would be more flattered in a boy in his teens or early 20s told them they were attractive than if a guy their age or older did? it doesn't make sense. and it's true i asked the question already. there were women who answered both ways, but it's much more likely the women who say the guy their age or older would be lying than the ones who say the younger guy.

and it is NOT about age only, because i'm 18 and when i tell older women they are attractive they don't seem to be flattered at all. i think it's that women are attracted to younger guys with that 'cute boy' look that i don't have and that's why. in other words, women are NOT sexually attracted to older guys they are attracted to school boys. right?

Its strange cause I have never realized that. I have always been attracted to older guys, they are more experienced. Although Ive noticed that I have just lately liked younger guys(I'll be 23 in may). I think on a subconscious level I think that since they haven't experienced as much that they won't hurt me as much as older men. Its all bull crap of course. No matter your age you have issues and flaws.
Thats just an idea, but you have to realize people change, thats a part of life. One day you can like older, the next younger.

It's because they start wising up around the ages of 22 to 25. Not sure what they key element is but I've collected this data from many women and it's that range that they snap out of their own little highschool world and start to realize how things work in the real world. In this highschool world they assume that just because a guy is older he's more mature. They find out eventually just how wrong they are. Although with age comes experience at playing a women so you get what you want. So they can certainly appear more mature or appear to be whatever they need to.
Probably just takes being used by some older guys who just want one thing to kick in this realization. This is a grand scheme estimation.

Okay, being a chick, here's my opinion...
I would assume that if he were an average guy but older, then he was probably just hitting on me if he told me I was attractive (just trying to get a piece).
If an average but younger guy told me, I would probably be more flattered because one would assume he could get girls a lot younger & cuter than me. (I am 38)
I am married to someone who is 7 years younger than me....the older ones are not for me! Just because we say we find the older ones more attractive, doesn't mean they're more "flattering" to us.
Yes, we are very confusing.

Duh. It makes perfect sense if you use common sense: what people say and do aren't always the same thing.
And attraction isn't "logical."
Just because a person is flattered by something doesn't mean they find it attractive. If some 65 year old 250 pound old lady who looked like she hadn't taken a shower in weeks said you were the most handsome man she'd ever seen, I'm sure you'd at least be a little flattered, but would that make you WANT her? I highly doubt it.
Lesson? Flattering a woman isn't going to help you make her attracted to you.

I am pretty sure men once they hit puberty, or when they are considered an "adult" like 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 , 25 are most attractive to all women, just because they are young and cute? its kinda hard to explain, but I hope you can understand what I am trying to say?

Women like men who are mature, who wont find farting and burping the alphabet entertaining, so they go for older men.
But unfortunately alot of women out there are a little vain so they go for the better looking guys for the looks and for the extra push of energy in the bed.
Besides, if you're in your late 20's and getting a guy in their early 20s complimenting them...its a confidence booster

women most of the time don't function logically or even properly for that matter so i'd say the real answer is very scary indeed but when a young guy says it they feel young, women equate youngness to beutiful and so anything that indicates they are not 5 tends to hurt them mentally because they do not handle reality well. and there my friend is your answer.
