Does it go under your belly button, at your belly button, or above? I'm confused.

You measure your waist by measuring yourself at your "natural bend". To determine this you need to stand in front of mirror, bend of sideways, not all the way, just enough to see where your body "bends". This is your natural waist line.

For females, you measure at your natural waistline, which is the smallest part of the waist and slightly above the belly button.

a million. I basically correlate the vast form with the dimensions, i.e. 26" = length 2, 27" length 4, 28" length 6, and so on. 2. I oftentimes basically degree the narrowest aspect which fluctuates between 25-26 inches. At my abdomen button that's 27-28 inches. desire this helps.

It goes out from the center of your belly button and around. Make sure to hold to tape measuer loose if you are measuring for clothing.

Well for your natural waist you measure around your natural waistline which is a couple inches below your breast and don't keep the tape so tight, give it some room. Then there's your drop waist, meause about one and a half inches below your natural waist line.
