Most definitely. You can lose weight, just by cutting down on these items, and still eat them.

What's wrong with eating a 2 440 double cheeseburgers from Mcdonalds, and 2 cans of pop for 240 calories a day?

2 * 440
+240
____
=1120 calories

1200 calories is the goal for most people. What's wrong with 1120 calories. It doesn't matter what you eat. I disagree with the whole you eat healthy food, and you automatically lose weight compared to hamburgers, hot dogs, and beef sandwiches. You can deprive yourself on apples, oranges, salads, and so on, but is that fun, or is it suffering?

I don't want to eat apples, oranges, and so on, and I don't. I'm fine losing weight. I don't know where I started at, but I had to lose already 30 pounds from December to now. I have been eating 700 calories a day with no exercise. I have cups of water.

Of course, I eat junk food such as popcorn, Taco Bell (today), Subway, Veal Oscar, Breaded Chicken Kiev, Breaded Popeye's Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Hot Dogs, Lou Malnatti's pizza, Connie's pizza, cereal, chocolate candies, Long John Silvers, Beef, Chicken Steaks, Mcdonald's Mc Chicken, Mcdonald's Fish, salad, fudgsicles, oatmeal.

It's a real horrible diet!! I absolutely hate this food!! Sarcasm ended.

That depends on what you replace the hamburgers and sodas with. If you choose a smert diet and eat only low fat healthy foods and drink water or maybe diet sodas you probably will lose weight. Exercise and good diet not only is good for weight loss, but will also make you generally healthier.

I think it all depends on how often you eat these foods now and what you plan on replacing them with. If you drink a lot of soda then replacing it with something such as water or tea will definately help you to lose weight. Replace the hamburgers with low fat turkey sandwiches on whole grain bread to other foods with less calories. If you replace hamburgers with foods like pizza or french fries you won't lose anything. By cutting back your calorie intake by 500 calories a day, you can lose 1 pound a week. (3500 calories = 1 pound). Hope this helps!

Yes, most definately.

Junk food always helps people to loose weight. We gave up junk food just over a year ago. Helped a lot to loose weight !

Eating a large size healthy meal early in the morning, a medium/average size meal at lunch time, and a small to medium size meal before 5:30 pm is a sure fire way of losing weight as one exercises daily.
Walking, Cardio, Swimming, Basketball, Tennis, etc. all help one to burn calories and lose weight.
The wife and I lost, combined, just over 105 pounds by eating a healthy Large breakfast early in the morning (5am), eating a medium size lunch, and we chose to eat a small dinner at 4:30. But it all depends on a person's work schedule as to when times are best. We fast walk, play tennis on the wkends, and swim a lot. The kids (2) children get a kick out of us exercising.
"Our parents exercise now ?! They said One Yr ago. And they enjoy exercising with us a lot, even to this day. Am now a 32 waist, and she is a 4.

Thank You for giving me the opportunity to provide you with "an" answer to your excellent question.

Have a Great week and coming weekend.

Depends on the rest of your diet and what you substitute for the hamburgers and soda...and it won't make much difference if you do lose weight if you then go back to the same manner of eating as before.

Simple answer: probably.
Complicated answer: it depends. If you give up hamburgers and soda only to replace them with Burritos and Juice full of sugar you probably will not lose any weight. But if you replace those meals with something lower in calories than you will lose the weight.
Simple math dictates that if you burn more calories than you take in you will lose weight. Replacing high calorie meals with lower calorie alternatives are a good start to changing to a healthier lifestyle.

Not if you don't work out and eat healthy. Everybody is looking for a quick fix. The only way to get weight off, and keep it off is to exercise and and eat a healthy diet. It's a life long commitment...unless you have a tapeworm.

It's "lose" not "loose"...

It depends...if you give up burgers and soda for two months, but instead eat pizza and drink beer, no!

Also, you would have to exercise to make sure.
