and everyone tells you how good you look. It makes you think you looked like crap before.

lol.. thats so true - but generally they are just doing it to be nice.. and to let you know that they noticed your progress.. not really to be rude, but I totally get what you're saying.

Not really. If you worked to lose weight, then maybe you knew what you looked like before. When people compliment me, it gives me motivation to keep going.
Don't take offense to compliments. Just because you look good now doesn't mean that you looked like a bum before.
When people say that stuff, they are really saying, "Good for you. I wish I could do the same thing."

If you purposefully lose weight didn't you know that you were overweight before?

Compliments don't make me feel bad about the past, they make me feel good about the present and motivated heading into the future.

haha. yes, especially when they go on about it. the worst is when you start putting some weight back on, you're left wondering what they're thinking...
