ihave a ferret a cat and a boyfriend . . not much cash and need to be some what close to the university of maryland cp campus . help i also need a safe neighboor hood.

Try the older apartments in Old Greenbelt -- NOT suburban Greenbelt. And for heavens sake don't even consider Spring Hill Lake. To get to Old Greenbelt, turn left on Southway off of Greenbelt Road, go all the way down to the Center...you'll see the apts, it's a best kept secret in these parts... the Campus Shuttle also goes there also. They are old apts with personality, and the area is fun and resourceful. And about $600-700 mo.

Good luck finding a cheap apartment complex in College Park. Your best bet will be to look for people renting out a room or a floor in a house.

You should be able to find something close to UMCP in that price range...don't know about the ferret though..you would have to call each place to see if they would accept him/her..most will accept cats..
