Everything comes up. If it was known that the person was dying hopefully someone has a power of attorney for financial matters, and also for health care, so that people don't end up with different ideas of what should or shouldn't be done for the dying person. Is there a will? or a trust? Are the wishes of the dying person known as far as funeral arrangements? Does the dying person want hospice? Talk to the doctor who is treating this person. Talk with the family.

Losing a loved one is the most difficult thing to go through. Watching them die is hard. The most important issue right now is giving them the best care possible. Making their enviorment peacefull, loving and quiet. The biggest issues I see come up are after they have passed. People grieve differntly and many tend to lash out at family members. Division of the loved one's property can create turmoil between people who think they are more entitled to something, and the stress of the situation will wear everyone down and make fighting all that more inevitable. I hope you are not going through any of this. God bless, good luck.
