I'm a single mother 36 of age. I'm so tired of the single life and I'm ready to be married. Any suggestions?

To Raul: I've been single for over 8 years, I'm so over the last relationship. So it's not about why I'm a single mom. It's about where I am today, what I have learned from my past, what I seek out of life now, and how better to obtain resources to achieve my dreams and personal goals. Capeche? Thanks a lot.

OK, being more specific....I have never been married....Too much life history to explain why I never married my childs dad....but this is where I am now.

To Mr. I am you/top contributer: I am fully aware of who my childs dad is...Where in my question did it say I did not. We were together for 5 yrs.

To Mr. Why bother: I would have preferred if you would not have bothered to respond. Your answer contributed no help, inspiration, support or otherwise. So as you say....why bother?

When the right one comes along you'll know. I met my now husband when I was 37 years old and I thought that it would never happen. And there he is. We met on line and fell in love. And we've been togeTher since then, and celebrating our 6th anniversary in 2 weeks.
So hang in there. sometimes when you look too hard , you miss the opportunities that are right in front of you.
Good luck and keep the faith.

You want a husband...

Yeah? I want a lot of things. Here's a list:

1) A sniper's rifle, a grassy gnoll and a clear shot of President Bush
2) 3 years worth of winning lottery tickets.
3) A toilet made of 24k gold.
4) Group sex with Rosario Dawson, Heidi Klum, and the entire active roster of the Swedish Bikini team.
5) The right to hit stupid people who ask stupid questions... sorta like this one, with a baltine hammer.

In order to deliver my answer to you, I must know what happens in your marriage so that the following guys can avoid the same mistakes.

You mean YOU DON'T KNOW WHO IS THE FATHER OF YOUR CHILD?

Hmmm??....That makes me even become more aware of your sexual history....No offense, but I think any guy would deserve to know his mate's history a little bit better before he can even think about marrying her. Better yet, he supposes that he can have her tested for S.T.D. If everything is in the open then there is no reason that he can doubt about her.

Sorry, I don't mean to offend you in any way but I'm just looking out for all my bros, here.

Catch my drift!!

you can try the personal websites like cupid, match, or eharmony, although there was a poster a couple weeks ago that married someone from eharmony and she was miserable, ( even yahoo personals)

I have met a couple nice woman on them, but also some wacko woman, so you got the good with the bad, if you dont want to join ( pay ) you can at least see some of the hot and sexy men in your area, I was amazed there was very few woman in my area I even found attractive,

Gotta meet some men first. Make sure your child(ren) like the man before considering bringing him into your home on a permanent basis, I have had much success with meeting people on those phone lines or in chat rooms (If you can't get out much, like to clubs or other places you would be likely to meet single men).

Just reflect on the reasons why you are a single mom before boarding another long term relationship!

Find a nice guy. Maybe try a dating site, you can probably weed out the guys who just want a fling with some accuracy. Maybe eharmony.

I remember being in your shoes; I used to fantasize about a wonderful hubby who would soothe all my cares away.

He never materialized, but I did have fun with PWP and the farmer's groups.

Good luck!

Find someone with the same interest and ideas, values, morals, etc. Begin dating and build a relationship. And be clear of your intentions. Good luck and God bless****
