If there is anyone who knows someone who would know or who can give me a site that would have the meanings i appreciate it. I would prefer to see the meanings and not just have someone tell me.

If you know someone who knows it please send them this question.

Thanks

This is a Mani prayer wheel.

The writing is Tibetan for "Om Mani Padme Hum" which literally translated means "the jewel of the lotus."

Tibetan Buddhists use phrase as a matra for meditation and prayer. The jewel within the lotus represents enlightenment or nirvana.

Mani prayer wheels are also used for meditation. It is believed when the wheel is spinning it induces one into a trance-like state, hence encouraging higher consciousness.

Happy tattooing!

Looks like Hebrew, or Arabic. I would make 100% sure I knew what each and every one of those characters means before I got it tattooed. Try a library. Or a Mosque. Good luck.
