I didn't tell my parents about a student holiday comin up!?

I didn't tell my parents about a student holiday comin up because they make me do a lot of chores everytime I stay home(EVEN WHEN I HAD THE PHEMONIA) so I told them I was going to school tomorrow. I get home around 4 o clock but my dad gets home somwhere around 1 to 6 so should I hide somewhere from him or should I just say suprize when he walks in the door and act like I just found out about it in the morning and I wanted to suprize him?

How did your parents not know??? Usually the schools send home the year calendar to the home because it has the dates of the parent-teacher conferences, PTA meetings, and the school holidays. I would just be up front with your parents and tell them there is a school holiday and try to compromise with them on the chores. Let them know that there is something you would like to do that day and then try to arrive at a reasonable amount of chores to be completed before you leave and you might want to arrange to do some when you get home.
Chores are a part of being a family member. They are your contribution to the home. Your Dad, and maybe Mom, earn the money for the food, the bills, and the house payments. This is their contribution. The chores also teach you responsibility and the basic skills you need to maintain your own home one day.

This is a tough one b/c you shouldn't lie to your parents. I think I would just go to school, and come back home (at least you can pretend you didn't know)...then you can say there was no school. U can then lounge around, take a nap etc...

go to school and then go back home, when parents come home tell them the truth you went to school not realizing it was a holiday. Always best to lie with a huge string of truth that way you are covered. Good Luck and enjoy your free time.
