According to the Bible, those who oppose it are lost. The are walking in darkness. Some believe that "darkness" suggest black people, which is vey funny, but ignorant. As an African American Christian, I laugh. I am made the light in Christ.

How do we enlighten nonbelievers? Show God to them through yourselves. Live the life according to the Bible. Be a blessing. Be all that the Bible commands you to be. By doing this, we are helping. And God commands us in the Bible to do this!!

Forgive me for the typos. There are errors that can't be corrected in the grammar.

Well, to me, it's living like Christ would have us live. Loving our fellow man, helping them in their times of need. It could be as simple as asking our neighbors if they need anything, to doing big acts of service if the need arises. I think that everyday we sincerely ask someone if we can help we are showing our love of Christ. We are also showing our sincere love of Christ. Christ said that if you love him, keep His commandments (John 14:15). When asked what the greatest command was, He said to Love God with all your heart, might, mind and strength. And the second is like unto the first- love your neighbor as theyself (Matthew 22:35-40).

I think that just by loving our fellow man, showing them true love and commpasion will show outwardly our love of Christ. It will also show others that we are following Christ by example.

The walking in darkness thing to me means they don't understand or know of Christ or God. They don't have the light of the gospel to lead them in their lives.

I do think that works have a lot to do with our lives. I think we show God in what we do that we are willing to live by His laws, and prove we are worthy to live with Him and Christ again. I don't think it is only through grace we are saved. We have to show God we accept the sacrifice of His Son in our lives.

Just let them live their lives. Sometimes, the non believers can be a blessing, not all of them wear pentagrams or do evil things just like all Christians are not perfect or paragons of morality.

A good friend of mine is an athiest who helps homeless with whatever they need. For example, if a person on the street asks for some change to get something to eat, my friend will go into a restaurant and buy the person a sandwich. One day when we were in Milwaukee and it was below freezing, my friend saw a woman shivering in a doorway. He took off his coat and gave it to her. A woman who watched this told my friend that "God was going to bless him". This was my friend's response.

"First of all, Lady, there ain't no God. I gave that woman my coat because it is freezing and she didn't have a coat and I have several. I am also going to my house where it is warm and she might have to spend all night in that doorway. I don't do things like this for a reward or a blessing. I do them because it is right and because I really care about people"

When's the last time you heard a Christian say that????

Tough question. I think that in today's secular world it is very hard to "enlighten" the unbelievers. They scoff at religion - hiding behind technology and science. They won't believe in a God unless you can give them concrete proof. and..there are some who just don't have time for religion in their hurry to make money.

Then, there are those who want to believe but are skeptical. Many of these people blame God for the wrongs in society and can't imagine that a "good" God would allow these things to happen. Others believe but don't want to take the time out of their hectic life to attend church/religious functions. They are convenient Christians.

I think, first we have to be true to what we believe in every facet of our life. We can't "talk" about being Christian and then not deliver. We have to live it in our daily lives. Demonstrate our beliefs and convictions and hopefully we will influence those around us. If we live in the "light" we will bring others into the "light". They will not follow darkness for we have lit the path to belief.

It's nice to meet a fellow Christian who lives by the word.

i'm sorry approximately your difficulty, and that i understand which you will possibly experience that way, yet there is not any such ingredient as god, people prefer to have self assurance in heaven because of the comparable reason you prefer to have self assurance now, isn't god who makes those issues take place, god would not administration all of us lives, people administration their very own lives, and thinking that the international is arbitrary, will in effortless terms make the international unfair to you, i've got not got self assurance in no longer something, i understand that each and every thing which you will possibly evaluate "undesirable" in this international take place because of the fact we enable it take place, because of the fact no person cares, the sorrowful reality is that folk do exactly no longer care. with regard to the placement you defined in Africa, why do people starve to death and get ill? because of the fact they're undesirable? No, is because of the fact no person has the decency of assisting those people. undesirable and prosperous is a phantasm, funds isn't something, those people do no longer choose funds, they choose food, that's what's incorrect with people, they might't see that we created that difficulty, and we can undo that, by utilising basically wanting, persons are basically too blind, and that i desire you will see the genuine nature of issues as i did. besides i basically prefer to assert which you, me, and all people else have the skill to alter the international, yet we ought to do it at the same time, is we who make the international what that's, we can exchange each and every thing. no longer god.

I heard a really great analogy once. It was in a song about the change that occurs inside true Christians as they bring their lives and choices in line with what Jesus taught.

As we make choices and become more Christ-like, we become like a window to His love and to the enlightenment that comes from being a disciple of Jesus. Those who see and watch us soon don't notice us as much as how clearly they can see Jesus and His effect on us.

I think it goes back to the Sermon on the Mount- Jesus tells us to "let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify God which is in heaven." Our light is our good works, our positive influence on those around us. (it has nothing to do with the amount of pigment in our skin!)

Regarding what I've done for Him lately.... I have a friend who has a couple very young children. I needed a hiatus from work, and her husband was going to be out of town for a week, so I offered to come and stay with her for that week- we had a great time. I helped with diapers, bottles, meal preparation... We even took the kids on a couple field trips. We both ended the week being refreshed and more energizes.

Today, I gave a friend a ride to work. We both go to school in the morning, and then we work together in the afternoon. I haven't been feeling well, so I wasn't planning on going to work, but I saw her walking down the hall at school, and I offered her a ride. Sure, it's a little out of the way, but I get to spend some time with a friend, and she doesn't have to fight traffic walking from school to work.

I didn't do these things to show off how great I am, I did them because I care about my friends, because I want to help them, and I have the resources to do so.

"When ye have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

What have I done?
Not much.
What can you do to bring the lost to him?
Bear witness and spread the gospel. Do not judge others else you be judged yourself. Do not speak down to those whom you 'try' to save. You must remember that they are in the eyes of God , your equal. Speak to them with compassion and love and speak openly and non-judgmentally.
In other words be an example and live as Jesus had instructed. Then they shall see God reflected in your character.

Last question, first...I could never do enough for God, but I make every attempt.

How God uses me is to expect me to stand up for His Principles even when they are not popular with "worldly" people. And to speak out against wrong.

I agree with you that being the best example of His Love will "woo" others to Him.

God bless.

Don't feel bad that it makes you laugh. All Christians make me laugh.

You can enlighten nonbelievers by pointing out that your religion is the perfect culmination of Greek, Roman, Mesopotamian, Pagan and Jewish lore.

What makes you so sure GOD has a penis?

What makes you think GOD has needs?

What makes you think GOD is something or someone separate from you?

GOD is HOW you are..... Free Will allows you to imagine whatever that will be.

God is LOVE.

Religion is humanity trying to explain the unexplainable with conditions......

(Just my perception.)
Blessings!

"Lost" according to your opinion, however I feel rather comfortable in my atheism, more so than I ever did in any religious studies I've ever done.

In a world where there's no lack of information, and relatively easy access to it, people who are interested in your pov can come to you. Hounding people from your viewpoint only causes more problems in life.
