Doesn't much matter what style, type, mixers, fiz, what you had before you started or what you do afterwards, its a question of how much alcohol you consume.

Sure, something greasy, milk, fried food before hand can grease the stomach lining and slow it down. Maybe something really absorbent like undercooked rice (ugh) could absorb some for a while. Sooner or later, the alcohol gets in you bloodstream and you are drunk. Vomiting definitely reduces the effect since some of the alcohol is now outside your body.

Next time you are at a party and see someone 'happy' and they have a glass in their hand, stop and think. Are they trying to be even happier? Aren't they already happy? How will more drink help?

The secret to sucessful drinking is to know what your level is for hapiness, get there are quick as possible THEN STOP drinking alcohol. Keep drinking fluids else you will dry out since alcohol does that.

Try this - 2 shorts before you go out to the pub then drink club soda for the rest of the night. It will save you a packet of money, stop you looking too silly, eliminate hangovers.

Remember - you heard it from me first! :-)
