good buy ONLY if you can see the maintenance records. jeeps are very finicky about having the differential fluids and transfer case fluid changed every 30K miles. if you cant see maintenance records on it DONT buy it. as long as the maintenance was kept up, v6 or v8 about the same fuel mileage and a good vehicle overall. one other thing to watch for is check all the heater functions. all modes and temps cuz they had a problem with the blend door breaking under the dash and its a $800 repair.

I have one, a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and love it. I'd recommend to anyone. Mine isa V6 and gives graet gas milage. I'd take it over the V8. I have always had plenty of power in the V6.
Limited comes with leather interior and all of the upgrade features. Larado is the more modest, standard edition.

try edmunds.com it is a vehicle comparison site that is free and will give you all the differences for the models your are looking at. try look around on the site and you will find a techs and specs column and you can type any vehicle make and model in to it and it will tell you everything there is to know about that model when it was new for that year

I'd research all the jeeps you are interested in on www.edmunds.com and make an intelligent decision from there.
