I really like this girl who is 18 and is from England. She is there now. We became pretty good friends. I will see her in the summer in Italy. What do I do to allow us to talk after the summer because I dont think I will see her for a long time after the summer. Can you tell me some things that I should know about England and its people, especiallly the 18 year old girls. I am not saying that English people are different it is just I that I want to know whats popular there, what you guys do for fun. Things like that. Someone said people are different in different areas. I think she lives close to London I think I remember the name Ashbury or something like that was near her. I am just rying to get an idea of life there so I can understand things a little more.

I'm an english girl and I live next to London, but I'm afraid every girl is unique and everyone loves different things. Simply start by asking how she is, what shes been doing etc. then build up a subject from those, ask how shes getting on with what she's been doing, that you really want to see her and miss her a lot, and simply build up topics by her answers.
She may be feeling the same way, so don't get to nervous that your boring her to death or anything.
I hope this helps a little bit, I've been chatted up by people from other countries and all they could talk about was themselves lol.

its not too different to most western countries! we all love going out to bars and nightclubs im sure, and if not that then live gigs and concerts, going to the cinema, bit of shopping. the usual sort of stuff. london has some lovely parks and gardens which are beautiful in summer. hope it goes well with her! xxx
just to add also, life here is quite fast paced, especially in london so be prepared to move quickly, and not get much conversation from people....us english dont talk very much to strangers!

well obviously you have a computer she if she has one and keep in touch that way, young girls are interested in fashion,good looking guys (beckham) music, clubbing and money for shopping sure the girls in Italy are just the same.
