i was sleeping with this guy for a while.. but ended it cuz i saw no prospects of a serious relationship... but he and i still talked an he was still flirting with me and making suggestions, but i wouldn't give in... so finally he laid off the flirting! any way, it was my birthday and he bought me a cake and gave me a huge kiss.... does this mean he may be interested in me???

Yes, he is still interested in you..
You need to tell him that if he isn't serious about
a long term permanent marriage type relationship
that he need not waste any more of his & your time.

By the sounds of it, he merely wants to continue a sexual relationship. It is very unlikely that he suddenly changed his mind; feel free to get back with him, but by no means expect any change.
