The New Testament Gospels were written through the guidance of the Holy Spirit to men who walked with Jesus. They were anxious to leave a written account of their own personal time with Jesus. There is so much to be said about these synopic gospels that I am going to leave you a wonderful website to research and read at your own leisure. Because we are a people who love to study, "show and prove", it is important that we learn what the Word of God says, but I also believe that in this "faith" there are certain points we just have to BELIEVE what JESUS said and accept the fact that there many be some questions we might have - and know, by faith that they will be answered. The gospels were based on real people - each person represented a different group to whom they wrote (jews, gentiles) and also the relationship each had. If you read John, you will find that he was more concerned about the "world' knowing Jesus as a Savior. Some accounts of the gospel are merely informative and presenting information about Jesus and the towns and travels. It is said that the author of Matthew is unknown - but we know "somebody" wrote it - clearly this demands even more investigation and research. I am just casual enough to just believe that there was a Matthew (a lawyer) and he really wrote this book. You read and allow the Holy Spirit to help you understand - because He will.

Jesus Christ is who they are based on by 4 different people who knew him or were told accounts of his miracles by eyewitnesses. There's Matthew where he's portrayed more like a king, Mark is the shortest and very factual and so is Luke and it's longer and talks about before Jesus and John the Baptist were concieved and how they were both people visited by angels to let the people know there would be a prophet and a Messiah born to both couples. And also John is more telling about how Jesus is God and man and does not have an account of his birth.

Paul did no longer reject the actual international. He did no longer meet Jesus in guy or woman in the previous he died, yet he did meet Jesus after his resurrection, that's why curiously to you that he 'renounced any wisdom of Jesus with the aid of human sources'. He grow to be basically being hassle-free approximately how he met him. As for issues seen and unseen, Paul isn't rejected this existence (he has a lot to assert approximately it), yet he's refuting the thought this existence is all there is. This existence must be considered in the sunshine of our eternal destiny, and that's whilst issues are going to be perfect and executed (fairly than in this existence). yet Paul rejected any suggestions that the actual international did no longer count. His writings are crammed together with his arguments against that concept. So of direction Paul might have primary the walking, talking, genuine existence Jesus. that's the Jesus he preached.

The Gospels are not 'loosely based' on Him, but they do tell us about Yeshua (Jesus Christ).
He is Lord and Savior of all who accept and believe in Him.

Jesus of Nazareth, a rabbi , prophet, and healer. He was the son of Joseph the carpenter and the Virgin Mary. Those who are Christians believe that this man is the Messiah.

The Bible books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are based on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, with particular attention placed on his three-and-a-half year ministry. They are factual eyewitness accounts.
