Hello there. Does anyone have any tips to wake up early besides getting an alarm/sleeping early/etc? I'm studying for a test right now, and I mostly stay up late to study (I sleep around 1-2 am in the morning). I need to wake up early in order to have enough time to study again. I've tried everything from alarm clocks to telling my grandfather to wake me up. Nothing works - I just go back to sleep!! I end up waking late and studying less than I hoped I would!

Please help; I'd really appreciate it! Tips or suggestions are more than welcome.

Well, I don't know what kind of test this is, or how long you have to do this; but it's honestly better to get a full eight hour before you take the test, than more studying time. I have an Education's Degree and we studied test taking tips a lot. Having said that, I did on occassion have to study and couldn't get the sleep and I had the same problem, so I started sleeping first and waking up at one or two (i'm a night owl anyway) and then studying. The other thing you could do, is make something quick for "breakfast" that you really like so you can get up for that and then review your material. Sometimes bribing yourself out of bed works.

Well, if you're not motivated to wake up early in the morning, that's biological. Nothing can help that. There is something called No Doze that has gotten pretty good use from me around exam times. Also, make flashcards with the questions and answers on opposite sides and just keep freading throguh them. SO that even if you wake up late, you can always flas through them

It takes time to reset your internal clock! You need to change your sleep habits if you want to get up earlier and function at an earlier hour.
It isn't easy--and I don't think there is a "quick" fix for it except forcing yourself out of bed in the morning and drinking some coffee or tea.
The rest will have to be over time...

You can try getting multiple alarm clocks and setting them about 2 minutes apart.

Also, try getting an alarm clock that keeps going faster and faster if you don't hit it.
