i am close to dating this girl. but i think my bro has feelings for her. i talked to her and asked, she said she doesnt really have feelings for him like she has for me. should i go on despite his feelings?

I think you should talk to him about it and see how he would feel about you dating her. Your brother is way more important than some girl and personally, I wouldnt date someone that, in my case it would be, someone my sister wanted to date or just liked.
Although this is kinda different...it might help. I kinda told my best friend that I liked this guy and she started talking to him behind my back and then a couple days later they were dating. Now when I see them together it kind of hurts my feelings. She didnt even talk to me about it and we have known each other for a couple years. But I never told her.
You have to remember that even though he might not admit it, your brother could still be pretty upset about it. Just whatever you feel is right.

You need to talk to your brother about it.
Ask him how he feels, and explain how you feel about the girl and that the girl likes you. If he doesnt mind you dating her then you will have a clear conscience, but if he says he does mind then i would back away from the girls. There will be plenty of girls over the years, but you only have one brother and wouldnt want to hurt him. If the girl is nice then she will respect your decision.

First thing you should do is talk to your brother. If he isn't ganna have a fit about you dating her, then go ahead. If he is, you can still do what you want, but, just remember that blood is thicker than water. You don't want to feel uncomfortable every time your around your brother.

I think that you should talk to him and tell him how you feel about this girl and how she has no feelings for him. If he doesn't beileve you then let her tell him herself. If you let you bother get her out of pitty on your part you could be messing a great oppurtinity. I think you should go for it. I know it will probably up set your bother, and if he is truely your brother he will understand that he is wasting his time on her if she doesn't like him. go for it

Talk to your brother about it. If you guys are close then an understanding may evolve. I say family before anyone. If he loves you he will be ok with your decision.
