Okay calm down...the only advice I can give you is call your local health department. Make sure you do not throw out the can, or the lid--and place all three items (can, lid, and skin flab) in a plastic baggy. Do not eat the food but search through it to make sure it is not a disguised food item!
To get in touch with your local health department, either look it up on the internet or call your local police station (The direct line--don't use 911!)
Best of luck!

Wish I knew what it was that you cooked. If it was chicken soup could be chicken skin---some raviloi products have what i call a mystery meat. Once I opened a TV dinner and there was a big ball of what looked like pocket lint under the celophane. Sent it with a letter to the company and they gave me all kinds of free stuff.

at least call the company and make a report of it.Throw the food away and get on with your life. You'll have a cool story for all your friends,if your thinking of suing or causing a fuss over it.It's a big big world out there and unfortunately the only compensation you'll get are coupons. I'm sure this company is prepared to give you a stellar explanation
