I have one at Belk, Wal-mart, and the Purple Elephant (local boutique store). I live in Mississippi so we don't have as many options to register at, the nearest Macy's is 3 hours away!

I had a hard time figuring where to register also. I finally did Macy's for the China I really wanted and Crate & Barrel because they had the barware that we liked, then we found other things that we really liked at reasonable prices. We live together already so we have most everything we need for our home. Register for those things you really are going to use or need because you really will get that juicer that you just put on there. Really think about what you want and/or need. My suggestion, don't put a huge list together. Keep it simple with things in all price ranges. I did service for 12 in my china, crystal and I picked everyday silverware (not real silver) on Macys and on Crate & Barrel 16 different items with differnt quanities of each (Like 12 Wine glasses). But putting little things like measuring cups and kitchen utensils and a list of over 100 items, people will get confused and those types of items you can get on your own. You can also register at places like Pottery Barn and just pick out furniture, your guests will then give you gift cards for like $50 that will be money off the pieces of furniture that you want. Good Luck!!

I registered at Wal-mart, Target, Linen-n-Things, Bed Bath and Beyond. Then at Belks, which is sorta like your Macy's. Many stores now have where you can start your registry online and add to it at the store and it is printed at the store also. This helps for out of town guests.

Why? You don't know where you like to shop? Try the usual Target and/or Macy's. I hear Wal Mart has a registry now too, so does Lowes or Home Depot.

Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's and Target. That gave a wide range of gifts and price ranges. Also there is a Target almost everywhere, Macy's in larger cities and Bed Bath and Beyonds all over for those friends that are out of state or out of the area.

Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, JCPenney, Pier One.

I wish that I had known that pamperedchef.com took registries when I got married. Their products are wonderful, and long lasting.... just what you want to put on your registry!

I am planning to register at some mainstream stores to make it easy on all of my guests - especially those from out of state. I was thinking of Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond or Linens and Things.

Nowadays you can also register your honeymoon. Instead of people purchasing gifts they could donate money towards your honeymoon.

Actually, because we already lived together, we opened a registry at a local travel agency and everyone contributed to our honeymoon.
