It seems like you 2 are young.

He's probably changing his mind about this relationship.
He's probably too shy.
He's probably embarrassed to be seen with you?

Man, it can honestly be a number of things...
Just let him know how you feel... that it hurts when he doesn't acknowledge your existence.

There are several possible reasons, all of them are him and not you. It could be that he doesn't want to advertise in school that he is dating you. He might be afraid of being teased or have insecurities that you aren't aware of. He might be uncomfortable with public displays of affection. If he has any inclination of the first reason, he would be even more averse to public displays of affection. Men also have the ability to compartmentalize their mind. Some of them can do so to a great degree. By that I mean when they are occupied with one thing, they are able to not focus on something else. For example, when relationship is on the mind, it will be thing foremost in our mind. Thoughts and feelings relate back to it. Men can sometimes set it aside entirely and divide their train of thought so it is totally outside of what occupies their mind at the moment. So it may be that when he's in school, he's in the "school" mode and not "relationship" mode. Although it may sound and feel hurtful, his "school" mode doesn't include you in it, yet. Some guys really have different modes and it reflects their compartmentalized thinking. All this is supposition, though. There's only one person that can tell you what you want to know.

You should talk to him in a private moment when he's relaxed and comfortable with talking. Tell him that you've noticed how he behaves and ask him why he's that way. Do it without accusations or making him feel guilty. Just let him explore his own behavior without your judgments or prejudices. Listen to what he says first and try to understand him.

Most guys do it because they are just scared! If he's not been in a real relationship before, he's not going to know what to do, So just let him get used to the idea of having a g/f. Don't worry all guys do it. We will never understand the properly and they will never understand us! Just the way of life!! Hope this helps.

I think sometimes we give guys too much credit in the thought process department. They don't think the same way we do, no hidden agenda there so don't worry so much. He's just lost in his own little world. zoom zoom
