Nobody in this day & age could get away with being like Dale Sr. You conspiracy-minded types who whine & cry about the Hendrick cars getting preferential treatment? When was Sr ever black-flagged for rough driving when we all knew he sent someone into the wall on purpose? Or at least called to the Big Red Trailer after the race? How 'bout NEVER. Junior next. Everytime Jr's dropping thru the field like a rock, we get one of those "ghost cautions" we hear about, & no matter where he's running, we get constant updates about him. ("Here's out-of-the-race Dale Jr in his hauler getting a PBJ.....) Not his fault, blame NBC & Fox for that. Actually, Jr's attitude has improved a lot since his first couple of seasons. He's become almost likable. But no. Nobody's like the Earnhardts. Never will be again.

If you meant to type your question to say "Does anyone like Dale Jr & Sr"...then your answer is yes. I am a fan of Dale Jr, I did not begin watching Nascar until 2004 but I had heard about Dale Sr before then. While I am not a fan of Dale Sr I do applaud him for all of his accomplishments on and off the track.

As for Dale Jr...I think that Dale Jr is making his own name in Nascar. He is stepping out from his father's shadow, although I do not think that he can ever get away from that as Dale Sr was and still is such a force in Nascar.

I think that Dale Jr can and will win a Cup championship but DEI has got to make some major improvements. They need to start at the top with Theresa and do a clean-up. They need better equipment, better engine builders, better chassis builders, etc.

Is anyone like them? No, everyone is their own person, and unique in their own ways. Dale Sr was one of the greatest to ever live and race, and will always be, right next to Richard Petty. Dale Jr, although a lot like his father, is still just Dale Jr. I love his personality and free spirit, and his driving. I don't think anyone will ever be like Dale Sr, or Richard Petty, or anybody else, b/c they are all different in their own ways.

As far as Dale Sr. is concerned, he was a feared driver. Partly because of his talent as a driver and partly because of his aggressive and sometimes dangerous driving. Nonthe less his statistics speak for themselves. There is not now nor will there likely be another like him, racing has changed grealtly since his tragic death
Dale Jr. is another matter altogether. He is an above average driver with an average team. In order for him to stand on his own he needs to get out from under his step-mother's thumb (either by gaining control of DEI or moving on to an organization that will give him what he needs to excell)
In any case he is unlikely to ever be considered one of the greats in the sport. Therefore there are several drivers who fall into the came catagory as Jr.

If you mean "Does anyone like them" then, Yes, I'm sure there are thousands that like them both. If your question is as it reads... Then No one is like Dale Sr. He's one of the greatest of all time! No one will ever be like DALE SR. As for Dale Jr, ask this question again when he has done something! Winning the Daytona 500 doesn't make you the best in NASCAR. Everyone wants that title yes.. But maybe after a few championships you can ask.. Is anyone else like Dale Jr.

Yes they are both of my favorites. I always liked Dale Sr growing up as a kid. It still upsets me to this day when they play the clip of him hitting the wall at Daytona over and over again. I wish they would ouit playing it I don't enjoy watching him die.
