Can you help me out a bit. Every day about 3-4 times a day my husband says " YOUR PREGNANT". I'm not saying he just started doing this i'm saying he has been saying this since we first got married. It gets pretty annoying because he likes to joke around with some of our friends and tell them i am pregnant, he will not tell them he is kidding they will think i'm really pregnant. Now their starting to catch on and tell him no she is not whenever he says this. Why is he doing this?
I have asked him, do you want a baby or what and he will say yes. I will ask him again a week later or so then he will say no, then he will say yes again...He is always talking about things that have to do with pregnancy and babies...He loves children and is very very good with them they absolutely love him..Just the other day he was talking about how i would look pregnant, what our baby would look like ect...Any advice

Have a baby! Sure sounds like your husband's ready. Good luck! Kids are great, no matter what anyone says, they are worth all the pain and worrying!

It sounds like he might have a fetish. It's possible he wants to see you pregnant more than he wants a baby. Guys like all kinds of things and some find pregnant women very sensual and attractive.

I'm not saying that this is true, I'm saying that it's possible. You can check into it by showing him pictures of pregnant women and seeing his reaction. Or you can do role play. Try putting a pillow in your dress one night and saducing him with subtle movements (don't be campy, be real). See if he responds to it. What's the worst that can happen? You might just find a fun new way to get cozy.

Then you can get a dog.

Sounds like you guys need to sit down and have a serious conversation about how he really feels about the subject. Maybe he really wants a baby but is anxious about the responsibility it entails. And he may be saying sometimes that he doesn't want a baby because he thinks that you don't want a baby.

if you do get pregnant though, good luck trying to convince people that you actually are! ;)

I think he is trying to aproach the subject to see how you and his friends feel about it. He may be toying with the idea of being a Father, or he may be ready to become one. You really need to talk to him and decide when you will have children, or if, and let him know that you are not happy with him saying these things. Maybe you should talk to him more about the things that bother you, before you have a mountail out of an ant hill. Good Luck!

Ok, there is absolutely no doubt about it, your husband is DEFINITELY excited about having a baby, probably he is not even conscious about this but his actions definitely speak for themselves. Probably he thinks you are not ready for a baby which is why he sometimes says 'no'. Maybe YOU should bring up the topic a day and say how much you are ready to have a child and see his response. I know this could be a bit embarrassing with regards to your friends but really he's ready!

If u are not ready for a baby, then u need to tell him.. Tell him that when you are ready he will be the first to know but in the mean time you would like him to stop joking around like that. He might take offense, but at least it will give u peace of mind and you did tell him straight out how you feel.

He must really want a baby, just get pregnant and he would be so happy, if he always talks about it then he means it, even though when you are pregnant no one will believe you, oh well, they'll see!
