How old was Mary when she gave birth to Jesus?

The Bible does not say how old Mary was at the time.
Bible scholars and historians tell us that the average Jewish girl would become engaged at the age of fourteen or fifteen years of age.
Other Christians writings of the time including the Protoevangelium of James (http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/0847.htm) state that Mary was fourteen when she became engaged to Joseph.

Nobody knows Mary's exact age.
Quote in the Bible, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 (KJV)
No age ever mention. People just want to guess.

Tradition states that she was in her late teens. Probably 16 or so.
