Okay. I'm trying to get my first tattoo over the next few days. I've gone to numerous websites for tattoo ideas and have found a few things. One that looked the best for me, but that I'm not 100% set on is a cross with a crown and two sahes. The top one saying lord of lords and the second king of kings with the bible scripture. I'm a christian. Though it does have meaning I wanted to get something more meaningful. I have seven siblings. 6 sisters and one brother. Maybe even my parents. Anyway. I was thinking of getting all their names in a design since we are all very close, but I can't think of anything. Anybody have any ideas? Serious answers only please. I don't want any hearts or anything girly. Please help thanks.

the fact that you are not 100% sold on any design says you should not get a tattoo until you ARE sure. you'll be glad you waited later on. don't rush it and get something that is anything less than the best tattoo you can imagine. i waited a few years until i found the right artist to do the tattoo that i wanted and after i found my current artist all of these great ideas just started coming to me. maybe you should start there, finding a good custom artist that can create a tattoo just for you. good luck!

that’s a lot of names I’ve gave people full back crosses with names or scriptures going all the way down as for what looks best that’s all option your skin tone and color choice have a lot to do with it. however if there is a symbolic family symbol or individual things like a blue jay, nautical star, pinup and heart etc you could have an artist design a piece incorporating those things. I hate telling people what to get remember it is with you for life if you have to postpone your trip to the shop do it make sure that’s what you really are willing to live with no matter what i am currently having 2 tats laser removed because i made an impulsive choice and didn’t wait i had both done before i became a tattoo artist

A tattoo in some ways is like a flag or symbol. It has specific meaning. My tattoos would help explain who I was if I could not move or talk. Your tattoo should represent you and are you old enough to know your spirit?

Something with meaning huh? Well how can a load of strangers give you ideas that are meaningful to you? Only you can decide what is meaningful, to some people their butterfly tattoos are deeply meaningful, it's just not your taste, that's all. Sorry but this is something you have to research and decide for yourself.

Sit down with a talented tattoo artist and between the 2 of you a design that you will love will come out of that process. Im sure of it.

you shouldnt get a tattoo unless you are 100% sure it is the design you want, dont get one because you think it looks cool at the time or whatever because your opinions can change in time and a tattoo is for life

think of a good quality that your famly has, for example loyalty make it in big leters which r hollow n write everyones names al through the letters! i mean in the hollow bit!! :S got it ?
or u can do the same thing but write the names in a way that in will spell i meaning full word !! like write the names after eachother in a way that will form leters.. again, got it ??
im terrible in explaining ideas!!
or as u r a christian u can form a cross with the names, instead of lines u use names !! u can add a nice line from the bible around it..

maybe you shold look at each of your siblings and find somthing that best represents their personality.
