You can get little tic tacs or mints and then cover them with a picture of the bride and groom and some pretty ribbon with the date on it. Personalized match books are also really cheap, and nice.
Make CD'c with love songs and then as the CD jacket have a picture of bride and groom, and inside a word of thanks. All you need is a computer. You can get blank CD's for super cheap, and it looks expensive after the printed cover is on

In all honesty, I never liked favors--its always something nobody wants, but takes only to put into the trash later on.

If you really want to give something, how about you enlist a few people to help you make cookies-a few varities-and people can select the ones they want to take with (if any). We've done that before, and it seems to go over very well.
If you get 5 or 6 people to make cookies, each person can make 2 types of cookies, adn you'll have a nice assortment for yoru guests. It doesn't cost that much, either.

go to orientaltrading.com and check out their selection of bridal accessories. Go to an arts and crafts store and buy the little bottles of bubbles and decorate them. Buy a chocolate lollipop mold which makes several lollipops at a time, and the sticks and make lollipops, put them in individual cellophane bags and tie the bags with fabric ribbon in the bridesmaids' colors and have little name tags on each one(if you know who all is coming) or little sayings on each tag that would be appropriate; maybe about love and relationships, happiness...have fun!

I'm having a luau shower for my sis. I went to www.orientaltrading.com and ordered leis and notepads and all kinds of luau themed prizes. I'm having a Hawaiian dance contest, about 12 of her guests will get a raffia skirt then they will do the hula. The rest of us will vote on who the best hulaer is. I'm giving leis to another 12 and they have to do a game where they have to sit on a balloon then do the activity listed inside. One of them is to go up to other guests and act like a dog, if they can make that guest laugh then THEY have to take thae 1st persons oplace acting like a dog. Everybody that participated gets a prize. If you're looking for more traditional you can give out stuff that has the date and names of the happy couple. The bride can wear a hat or shirt or something that says BRIDE TO BE on it. Save the bows from all of her gifts then make a "hat" for her to wear at the end and everybody can get pictures of her.

What about quotations? Or naming as many characters from the film as possible? Or showing partial clips/pictures of the movies and having to guess them? Or having to name as many Disney movies as possible? Or putting them in order according to their creation/release? Have a "hottest" Disney men rating where they rate the men on a scale? Charades of different Disney films? Print pics off the internet and stick them everywhere? Try the Disney store for some merchandise to glam up the place? You can probably get pens, papers, mugs, towels, toys - all sorts! Good luck and have fun!

We made candy bags for my shower. Little bags we got at the party store with little brides and grooms. Plastic bags ofcourse. Filled them with homemade cookies, induvidually wrapped homemade fudge and candies. One of us made the cookies another the fudge and a third brought the candies. Tied ribbons around the top of the candy filled bags with little tags that said thank you for coming, that was it!
No one really keeps the favors, so this is inexpensive and they will actually eat it!! I think all together for about 50 people it was like 30.00.

Find out a favorite recipe or two or three from the happy couple to be. Write them(or have them printed) on recipe cards. Punch a hole in them(in upper left corner) and tie a ribbon through it. They should say:

From the Kitchen of: Mr. & Mrs. ________/Date________

If you write them out, this is where maid of honor and bridesmaids come in handy! Even groomsmen too, if needed!
