Well I will ask for advice and I dont want rude answers either. This is a huge problem. Yesterday morning about 7 am I went to the store and came back home to find my fiancee and my 3 year old daughter both tied up and gagged on the floor. My fiancee was half naked. They both were shook up and when my fiancee came round she told me two men broke in and robbed us. They stole several things and held down my fiancee and raped her. They also cut my daughter on her little legs and she is till sore but thankfully they did not rape her. The police ran tests and are investigating. Thankfully the hospital says she is not pregnant and has not contacted anything but all of us are shook up. My fiancee was so scared last night she slept in the bed with me (since we are not yet married we dont sleep together) and my daughter had to take a dose of medicine to sleep. But I would appriacate any advice how to help my shaken family? Please dont recommend the police they are already investigating.

take them both to counseling. The police should have suggested that. Call them and tell them you want to be refereed to a counselor especially for your daughter.

Contact a crisis center. I have 2 little girls and this really upset me, take them both to see someone, it's so important. Change your locks or move if you can. Have your fiancee to take a course in self defense, it may make her feel like she's in control again. I am so glad your daughter is ok. I am very sorry this has happened to you. The hospital should've given you a number for the crisis center. Google crisis centers in your area. Take care of them.

Do some things around your home to improve your security. Buy a security system or change your locks. Get some family counseling from a good therapist. Your fiance and daughter could both be traumitized from this for a very long time. I'm surprised your fiance wanted to be anywhere near you.

I think you are doing a wonderful job so far. Love your fiance and make sure that they know they are safe. Get a new security system or something they need to feel secure or they will always be looking behind their backs. Make sure your daughter is all right talk to her about what happen. This is something that could affect her for the rest of her life.

Good Luck!

look up victim support, in local phone book, or ask at the doctors for counseling, can you fiancee talk to her family or friend. just be there for each other. ask her what would make her feel more secure, changing locks extra locks , or get her a rape alarm, your little girl just time and lots love and hugs. i hope they catch the scum who did this

you urgently need to see your doctor and get some counseling. talk is good .your doctor may have other suggestions for you to try. this is a horrid crime i really hope they catch the villain and make them pay. i know it will not help you much at this time but time is a great healer you will live on to think of it less. i wish you and your family well.

that's pretty serious. Please check out RAINN.org. They may be able to help your fiancee with counseling as that is what she will need. Please be there for her in everything that you do, because both your daughter and fiancee will feel vulnerable for a long time. And, please get a good lawyer once these creeps are found. They need to be locked away.
