i received an e-mail stating that i'm one of the lucky winners of 500,000pounds. and presently i'm confuse because i don't know if it's a fake or fraud mail. how can i identify if it's real lottery.

Here's the best test: did you enter the contest? If not, it's a fraud.

More evidence: Yahoo and MSN don't run lotteries. These are well known scams. They'll try to get personal information and money from you in some way.
