I’m asking because I’m 18 and haven’t had one yet. I’m not looking forward to one, I’m just curious if I’m out of the average age range of someone getting a cavity.

You're not out of the average age range---"kids" today shouldnt ever get cavities, because of fluoridated drinking water.

Me, I'm old. I got my first cavity at age 13.

I had cavities soon as I had teeth. I swear I think some of my teeth were rotten when they came in. I'm glad to say that I don't ever have to worry about cavites again tho. I got a full set of false teeth when I was starting high school.

You're never too old to get a cavity!
Adults get them too.

I think I was about 8. It was in a tooth coming out.
That was my only cavity - until now.

I'm 44 and have two cavities now in two wisdom teeth that I cannot reach to brush. They have to be pulled out.

I'm about to turn 27 and I still have never had a cavity. Believe me, its not from taking care of them either. I guess I just have strong enamel.

I was 17, but my molars had also been sealed when I was 6, so mine was so small, I didn't even feel the drill. My son was 6 when he had his (4 cavities!!), but his molars weren't sealed. They are now!! He knows not to eat any more Laffy Taffy, too, cause he'd eat it every day. Poor kid.
