no its water soluble so you will just go to the bathroom and it will leave your body, in order to be intoxicated from vitamin c it would have to be crazy amounts, i have taken as much as 4000 and nothing happend ot me.

There is indeed such a thing as too much, and there is no real point in taking more than the equivalent of a couple glasses of orange juice a day. I don't know of specific symptoms of overdoing it.

The MDR (Minimum Daily Requirement) of vitamin C is base on not getting the disease called Scurvy.
You can "safely" take quite a bit more than the MDR. The only problem you could encounter with massive doses is a change in the PH of your system. vitamin C is a mild acid and while your system can handle lots of it, there is a limit.

i found that when i had too much vitamin C that it caused me to break out on my face. I used to drink a lot of orange juice and fruit juice high in it, but i cant anymore. At least like only one glass a day.

vitamin c can not be stored by the body and therefore is flushed out daily. Try to find out what the recommended daily doesage is and just take that much.

If you take more than what your body needs it will get rid of it through your urine or intestines. You would be wsting it. Look up the daily recommanded dose and take that amount.
