In every picture I'm in, I have red eyes, but none of the other people in the photos do. What would make me have them and not anyone else? Am I just pure evil???? :P

The red-eye effect occurs because the light of the flash occurs too fast for the iris of the eye to close the pupil. Light is focused onto the blood-rich retina at the back of the eye and the image of the illuminated retina is transmitted to the camera resulting in the red appearance of the eye on the photo.

When someone is taking your picture, don't look directly at the camera; if you turn your head slightly or focus your eyes to the left or right of the camera, the light from the flash will enter your eyes at an oblique angle, minimizing the chance of red-eye.

light reflection off the eyes. You are probably at a slightly different angle from everyone else in the photos. Red eye is easy to remove if you have a program like Photoshop.

The flash and other lights determine the red eye in a photo. No your not evil. To get rid of red eye with digital cameras it is easy, you can edit your photos to get rid of any red eye.

White light enters the lens of the eyes, is partially absorbed by the retina, which is full of blood, and reflected back out through the lens appearing red (the blue and green spectra are absorbed by the blood).

If you get red eyes in all of your photos (using different lighting, cameras, etc.) you should have your eye(s) checked. This can actually be a brain tumor behind your eyes.

But if it is just an occasional thing, I wouldn't worry about that.
