In reality love does not exist just like time. You only think you love that person. An example, you hit your head in a rock you forget everything including you lover. Now you have no feelings towards that person. Then someone else comes along and bang you fall in love with that person and you have the same feelings all over again. so what was the thing you felt for the other guy Love? to answer the question you need to define "love". there are so many meanings to love. it is never sure when he is in love you. he may just be in lust with you. he will know when he knows. you cant give love a time and date. it just comes. but good luck and happy life.

You have to look for more than the words to know if he truly loves. Many guys say i love you but don't mean it, many of them say it just to get in your pants.
