Well, you can shower at night and apply that lotion that inhibits hair growth (it's not the Nair stuff, it's an actuall lotion that can slow the rate of hair growth)... and in the morning, you can just put on deodorant and go about your day. It's a slow process but the lotion really works

I don't know of any other way. As far as getting laser treatment "there" i'm a big advocate of it. I've actually done it, just one more session left. It stings a little but sooooo worth it. After you have it done (1 session it takes 4-6) and the hair falls out, usually within a week, you're hair free for 8 weeks. It's pretty cost effective too. Depending on where you are, geographically, call into the laser clinic monthly and ask if there are any specials. I managed to pay for mine all at once, while they were running the special. $30 a session, and there was no redness or irritation.
I might add that if you have course hair, this is especially the way to go, it certainly beats razor burn that can easily occur in such a sensitive area, especially with coarse hair.

I have heard it from my grandmother that when the child is born, the umbilical cord is dabbed at the girl child's armpits, upper lips, forehead, around chin, over hands and legs and in the pubic region. Umbilical cord contains lot of heat. This heat is sufficient to burn the hair follicle. It has to be done soon after the birth of the child. This is believed to be the most natural way of getting rid of unwanted hair.
It would be of no use now. I think, besides laser treatment, threading or plucking hair is more effective than shaving. Shaving results in thick growth of hair and hair are likely to grow soon. Plucked hair takes atleast a month to grow again.
Also avoid consumption of sweat agents like garlic and onions. Hair growth is thick in moist areas where there's no exposure to air.

Mmm, laser treatment is really the only way that will last longterm, though very pricy!
If you were to get your pits waxed at a salon, you could probably go 3 to 6 weeks without shaving them which is very good! Probably the best idea if your wanting to save money.
:S Dont really know
:)

The only ways to get rid of hair are:
- Waxing
- Shaving
- Lotions & Creams (Nair)
- Threading
- Plucking
- Laser Hair removal
And the only one that is permenant is the laser hair removal. Sorry... I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

Well..... there *is* another way... My aunt has mild hypertrichosis - where hair just grows really thick on her body & she takes a pill that inhibits growth of all the hair on her body except for that which is on her head (different type of follicle). You could look into that. She tried electrolysis & it didn't work, and she's too pale for laser treatments.

Without doing laser, the only other permanent method would be electrolysis which is very painful and can take several sessions.
Laser is the only way.
