his name is on it and i think numbered(188). I know nothing about art. Do you think it has any value? Its very nice. Thanks for any advice.

it is framed with glass. I've had it for about 20 years.

I have no idea how old it is. My wife got it somewhere(not new). She has since passed away. it was framed when she got it.

Please excuse other people for not being sensitive.
First of all if it is numbered it will have some value because it would be a numbered lithograph.
Second of all it has great value because you and your wife treasured it,obviously you still do too. That in of itself is a treat.

Monetary Value: you are searching for numbered Lithographs NOT prints. You will have to have it verified by a qualified art dealer if it is worth it to you.
I dont know what the value would be, but they would or someone else in this community will be able to who is a top answer in this category or someone who knowledgable in Arts as well.

I doubt that it is worth much. Atkinson Grimshaw prints were all the rage 20 years ago, and could be brought, e.g., on garage forecourts for 4.99. Nice pictures, but unless it is an original, just to be enjoyed. I doubt that it is a limited edition, either, as his dates were 1836-1893.
