Keeping your face moisturized helps to keep it hydrated and healthy. Think about the difference between a plum and a prune. Plums are plump and juicy and don't have wrinkles. Prunes are dried up and have many wrinkles. Your skin acts in the same way. The more hydrated your skin, the healthier it looks and feels. It is very important, even at a young age, to use a pure water based moisturizer or day crème with an SPF 8 every day. Anything higher has been proven to cause irritation on a daily use. It's critical to protect yourself as much as possible as 90% of aging is caused by our environment. MINERAL OIL is the #2 cause of aging! THE SUN is #1! Only 10% is from naturally growing old and can be prevented with proper skin care regimens!

Keeping it hydrated makes it soft and helps regulate skin. Having too dry skin can cause pimples too because of the dead skin cells. Also, you should use a moisturizer with an SPF every day to prevent sun damage and skin cancer.

For proper circulation especially for those with senstve skin. It's to keep from drying and chapping for that healthy look and feeling. Make sure you apply the right moisturizer for your skin. Aloe vera(clear, not colored and pure) gel or anything containing it is excellent because it naturally permeates the soft tissue providing its own health benefits.

Well what you need most is SPF 15 or higher which protects you against the sun's rays. If you don't use that you will be more susceptible to skin cancer and wrinkles.

So you don't have dry and flaky skin. Also your moisturizer should have some SPF in it.

IT ISVERY IMPORTANT! for ugly, insecure females who want to look better and impress the male species! other than that, applying moisturizer is a waste of money and time for people who are secure within themselves!
