She is a puppy and will chew anything in sight. She is probably just teething. Get a kong and stuff it with peanut butter. Bitter apple spray. That will keep her busy for a while. You need to watch what she is doing constantly and let her know what she can and cannot chew on. Everything looks like a toy and it is your responsibility to teach her what not to chew on.

Go to a pet store and you can buy bitter apple spray or a similar type of spray that tastes REALLY NASTY. To confine her and keep her out of trouble while she is alone, put her in a dog crate or a area confined with baby gates. She has separation anxiety. If you do not succeed with other methods, visit a dog behaviorist and they will help!
Another thing to do is to leave her for about 10 seconds and walk out the door, simulating the action of you leaving the house. Then quickly return and if she hasn't destroyed anything, give her a treat and lots of praise. Slowly increase the amount of time and she will recognise that you are going to come back and there is no reason to worry. I had to do that with my rescued collie that had SERIOUS separation anxiety. She used to urinate all over the house and would bark, jump onto counters, and lots of other bad stuff.
Good luck,
Charlotte

I also have the same problem. But I cannot crate my puppy because it would be too long in a crate. The bitter agents they have available did not work, chew toys did not work. It's frustrating. I think it just takes time. Have you tried rawhide bones? That seems to work a little for my puppy but he has chewed up my whole bathroom. Good luck.

You might want to consider crating the dog while you are gone. Put some chew toys in to keep her busy.(make your own chew toy - take an empty water bottle and put some kibble or dog treats in it (the dog will play with it for a long time trying to get the treats out)

Puppies are easy to deal with... you need to get a kennel ... allow her to stay in there ONLY when your gone, when you are at home and see that she sniffs around the cords, pillows, etc. then use a product called Gannick's bitter apple, it is safe for animals, it is a taste deterrent. It is sold at Pet Smart Stores all over.

Boredom or anxiety are probably the cause for the chewing.
You need to crate train your dog. It will be safer for the dog and your property.
I assume this is all going on while you are at work and the dog is alone. If it goes on all the time, you are going to have to break the dog of its habits through negative or positive (much harder to do) reinforcement.
