Well you're right, she is ruining her relationship. Obviously she doesn't really care about this guy, if she is still looking for others. She's not even giving this guy a real chance. I hope the dude comes across it and drops her, before he get his heart seriously broken.

I can see a major problem with having a personal relationship and still maintaining a relationship on a dating site. Simply put, you have to remember what your guy has told you and all the other guys on the website - that could come back to haunt your friend.

When my hubby first heard about them, we both done one. Just to see how people racted to them... I know it was dumb and stupid. We only left them up there for a week. I can see how something like that can ruin the relationship she has, and I am sorry to hear that. I wouldnt have done it without my husband doing the same thing though. I dont think there is anything you could tell your friend to get her to stop either. Sorry. Another relationship destroyed by the computer!!! :(

I'm sure it would have a negative effect on an existing relationship if the person's partner knew about it.
What goes around, comes around though...those that keep up profiles in hopes something better will come along, often end up with nothing in the end.

I have a Myspace page,some consider that a dating site,though I do not!I only add people that I know,and some bands.My boyfriend also has one,so we have no problems there!But I know other people who make big drama over having a page?!I think your friend should just end her relationship w/ her man if she is not completely happy,and keeping her options open!!

What is she doing on a dating site? Obviously her relationship isn't too stable...so I would vote...a big NO. Then again, sounds like she won't be in a real relationship for long, so she may want to keep her profile!

Uh, no I don't. and I wouldn't unless I were actually looking for someone else..in that case, she just needs to go ahead and end the relationship she's in!

Dear one if you can share with her how you feel. Your values are well and good. Perhaps God is the answer to the desire's of your heart.
The prayer of St. Francis says it best............
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
