You don't need to spend a lot of cash, buy yourself something he would like too!!!! then get in a nice bottle of wine, some romantic music, candles, something really nice to eat. non smelly, non breathy (non garlic), a nice romantic chick flick, and just cuddle up on the sofa together. then the rest is up to you. ;o) I did the same for my 2yr anniversary for my boyfriend and he loved it.

i'd attempt to make certain why he chosen now to not get you some thing. Did he oftentimes get stuff for you in the previous?? is likewise he dealing with any type of annoying or per chance even financially annoying time?? If no longer, i'd ask him straight away. once you've a sturdy sturdy relationship he will answer you. i'd nicely be he's soo stuck on a controversy at artwork, homestead, and so on that he in basic terms forgot. If his answer is kinda susceptible tell him so and note what he says. in case you nevertheless don't like the answer then possibly evaluate your relationship with him and proceed for this reason. best of success

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

Make the day special, not about a gift. Just spending alone time with him and making him feel like a king is worth more than anything you could buy. Do the things he likes, even if it's not necessarily something you enjoy. Something as simple as breakfast in bed and a massage goes a long way. :)

Obviously something for the home, if you are about to move in together. I've just got my partner a towelling robe with his initials engraved on it. Otherwise, a picture frame (with a photo of you together) or even cooking utensils(you will need them anyway!)

take him to a restaurant (that you can afford) and after the sweet - give him the pants that you were wearing - he'll be a happy bear soon after.

go to your local locksmiths, buy a big key and have it engraved with "to my heart".
