I love the stuff and seem to be craving it every night. Not pregnant, just got a really bad taste for the stuff these past few weeks. Is it bad for you to eat too much curry??

omg.... I thought I was the only one. Apparently v.hot and spicy stuff can help you lose weight, but I doubt if I ate curry everyday I would lose mega pounds!
I love the stuff it's bleedin gorgeous but my partner is getting a bit bored of it so might need to have something different tonight!!!!!!!
Weird how it's just been over the last few weeks for me too, I'm not pregnant either. Maybe there's a curry monster injecting us with curry craving hormones!!!!!

How can it be bad ? For years now I have curry 5 or 6 times a week as a main meal, sometimes for breakfast. The craving is the endorphins that are released by the chillis or spices added to the sauce.

I sometimes get my fix solely from chillis

My 12 year old vegetarian daughter is a curry nut! The spicier the better. She asks for it in her lunchbox every day, and the kids all love the smell of it and want some. I always think the teachers will think I am not capable of cooking anything else! lol

Not since rehab. I used to mainline curry 3 times a day. It destroyed my life. It took an overdose of curry to finally get across to myself that it was going to kill me. Kids, stay in school and stay off of curry!

i was going to post this question myself.

for the last couple of weeks all i have wanted to eat is curry. specifically chicken curry. any type of curry (Chinese, korma, tikka) but it has to be chicken.

i have had to justify myself as the 1st thing people say is are you pregnant ?

hope its not bad for you as i'm planning on curry again tonight :-)

Curry is great, healthy food, and like you I am a huge fan - cant eat enough of it. You must try www.goodfoodguide.co.uk website and go into 'recipes' section. All the best chefs - including indian chefs, post their recipes on this site and it's so easy to make yourself. Enjoy!

Yes!!!! Good thing my husband likes it. Everything else tastes pastey. I crave the extra spicy heat. I've been trying to use Dal and vegetables though.
