A neighbour's young daughter had reached the age where she was left to attend to brushing her teeth unsupervised.
One evening she seemed to be taking an extraordinary long time.
When her Mother was on the way upstairs she met the daughter coming out of the bathroom.
On enquiring about the delay she was told "I've cleaned my teeth; and I've cleaned Scamper's teeth too".
Horrified her mother tried to be firm and complimentary at the same time; explaining that the girl should not use her toothbrush on the dog.
"That's alright, mummy"; she said; "I used yours"
