No.
I would tell her that it was a good joke. The next day I would start working on a prenuptial agreement; well, that or searching for a new girlfriend.
I read about a moron who spent all his money to do that, she promised to get married but when she got the house she called off the wedding and refused to return the house. Every one in town liked the guy so they told her to give it back but she just ignore them. At the end the guy with no money and no house went psycho and killed her and later committed suicide. All for freaking house. He did wrong, but to humiliate people is a dangerous game and she should have known better.

If I had the money, sure! Real estate is a good investment, and if (a) the relationship doesn't work out, I can sell the property for a profit or use it as a rental property after that and make money, or (b) if it does work out, and we moved in together, we'd have a place already gathering equity, so we'd have more $$$ to buy a bigger place when we moved.
Of course, I'd keep the house in my name. I probably would also make her sign some sort of lease, acknolwedging that the lease was a month-to-month and that either party could terminate with one months' notice.

i imagine you made a strong selection. i'm 16 and had sex my freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and that i do not experience sorry about it in any respect. even if, I wasn't forced into it and that i fairly loved the guy I did it with. Now i'm 16 and am in-love with a guy and it fairly does make all of it more advantageous powerful. And my boyfriend did no longer have sex till me, and he's now a senior. seem sex is tremendous and all yet when your questioning it you fairly shouldn't do it. you've were given all of highschool and faculty to have sex, you may not seem again on your first time with any regrets. And in case your girlfriend breaks up with you on Monday for no longer having sex at the same time with her than it extremely is the in person-friendly words element she needed from you in the first position.

you would be OUT OF YOUR MIND! under NO circumstances would I buy her a house.....why don't you try finding a girlfriend who can buy her own house?
p.s., and DO NOT put the house in your name (like suggested above) and let her live in it....it doesn't matter whose name it is in, you will lose it in court because it is HER legal residence.

I would buy the house but keep it in my name and let her live in it alone while I stayed at my place. That way its still my house. If everything goes south.

Maybe - If it is a good investment that your name goes on the deed ,and she pays the house note every month! Guess that depends on how much you trust her to maintaine the house and not destroy it! I probably would not though- If you broke up she'd damage it and say you were a slum-lord! Good Luck

Naw thats not fair. Will he have keys & will he be the only man coming there, & spending the night? If you answered no your going to have a problem & you don't have any respect for him. By all means if you got it like that ok but don't mistreat someone just because.

If you don't mind her expecting that kind of thing from you all the time... what's next, honey, my car just isn't me, don't you think I would look better in a ... You might feel all powerful and stuff, but realize that if she is like that now, she just wants your money, is testing you and she will eventually find someone with more money than you.

Nope. Regardless of how much I love her, I'm not buying her a house just for herself.

That would be idiotic. If she wants a house just for her, she can buy it herself.
