It probably depends on how far along you were when you miscarried. Ask your doctor.
Personally, I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks when I was 18 and now I have 2 healthy kids. :)

it is definitely still okay for you to have kids. depending on how emotionally healthy you are now, you can start as soon as possible!
i have 2 friends that had a miscarriage the first time they tried. but got pregnant the 2nd time around. and they both had a baby boy. and one of them are pregnant again. so, I'm pretty sure that a miscarriage doesn't ruin your changes of ever having kids.
good luck.

A miscarriage can be brought on by a number of things but it doesn't always mean you won't be able to have children in the future.try these sights for info.

Yes, you can have future healthy pregnancies. Unfortunately miscarriages are far more common than you think and most women go on to carry a baby full-term. Does your Dr. know or was it a very early loss? Talk to your md about it if you haven't already. That said, if you're having any emotional trauma (I did, and many moms do) because of your loss, then please seek support...and don't let anyone tell you that there was nothing there to lose.

Yes you can still have kids. Just make sure you go to your Dr ASAP, there are procedures that need to be done following a miscarriage. Good Luck

Most generally yes....I have had two miscarriages and have had two full term babies after that(have 3 girls total) Even after having an ectopic that ended in having my right tube removed there is still a good chance I can have another child.

A miscarriage does not mean that you cannot have children, it could mean that something was wrong with the child you were carrying, it could mean a host of other things, but to be sure - you need to see your physician and get a complete physical and your partner should also.

A miscarriage should not affect future pregnancies...alot of women miscarry and go on to have healthy babies..There are alot of reasons for a miscarriage, most of the time being chromosonal problems..Its natures way of taking care of things....If you are concerned talk to your Dr. about this..Good Luck!

I just had a miscarriage in November 2006. I listened to my doctor, followed her advice as far as getting on the pill and getting regular for a coulple of months and now im 11 weeks pregnant and doing good.
Talk to your doctor about it, and see what they have to say. Best of luck to you.

I would discuss this with your doctor. Many women go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies after a miscarriage.
