gods time is infinite, right? so whos to say it didnt take millions of years to create adam by means of evolution and the planet by billions. god is infinite, and no one can say what he didnt do. isnt it a sin to say thats not how it happened? i think that god wouldve done it like this so we can learn and expand our mentalm horizons. thoughts?

UNLESS, our measurement of Day and Night have changed; one 24 hour period is called a Day and is farther measured by the Setting and Rising of the Sun.
SO, according to His Word; His measurement of One Day; is the SAME AS OURS!
Genesis 1.5 "there was EVENING and MORNING, the first day."
Genesis 1.8 "there was EVENING and MORNING, the second day."
Genesis 1.13 "there was EVENING and MORNING, the third day."
Genesis 1.19 "there was EVENING and MORNING, the fourth day."
Genesis 1.23 "there was EVENING and MORNING, the fifth day."
Genesis 1.31 "there was EVENING and MORNING, the sixth day."
Genesis 2.2 "And on the seventh day Yahweh finished the work that He had done, and He rested on the seventh day. So He blessed and hallowed the seventh day, because on it He had rested from all the work He had done in creation."

Because God would have said that it happened that way.
The math of evolution requires an infinite physical time span. However, science has discovered that the universe had a beginning--so there is not enough time to make evolution even remotely possible.
You're approach is good, but your conclusion is flawed. Since God is infinite, you should have no problem with the concept that the perfection of Creation could happen in a 144 hour period. The Greeks believed that this was accomplished with just a word of command. This was referred to as the "Logos"--ie "The Word".
John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

I believe it is a mistake to try to reconcile Faith with what is learned from scientific study. Science must be logical, rational stacking up evidence like bricks, building up what can be observed and studied.
No human knowledge can equal God’s knowledge. I know this from God’s Holy Spirit, but I cannot prove it scientifically. Unless there is a way to prove God scientifically, we should keep Faith and science separate.
My personal opinion, I believe that when Jesus speaks of the beginning he means the entire period of time before human development. Call it a very long incubation period. Just a butterfly spends most of its life as a caterpillar, when we see a butterfly we don’t say "look at that flying caterpillar". But in the beginning and for most of its life it was a caterpillar.

Science is entirely orthogonal to religion. There is no reasonable overlap whatsoever. God's time cannot be infinite (so your "right" is wrong) as God is a (mythical) creation of man. And re Q2, science is to say, as per the complete and utter lack of evidence. Or, if you don't accept that, who's to say that The Flying Spaghetti Monster didn't do it - all evidence is identical.
All gods are, and have been, and will be, finite and confined absolutely to the minds and extensions (paper, film, etc.) of believers. Finally, learning and expanding horizons (both noble pursuits) is incongruous with "Goddidit", by definition.

Christianity and scientific explanations can be consistent, but creationism and scientific explanation cannot be.
Creationism has one goal, to discredit anything that contradicts the literal interpretation of the bible. Those that put it forth are both dishonest and seem to believe that lying from god is a good idea.
If a person believes the Bible contains allegory and metaphor, as a teaching method, then it can be quite consistent with the Bible. Creationism contradicts much of the vast stores of scientific evidence garnered to date.

You can argue that version of creation, but that's not the one that the Creationists use. They also do some very creative things with models of evolution, like turn them upside down inside out and backwards in order to 'disprove' them.
I'm very happy to accept your version. I don't believe in, but we basically get along. What I continue to comment on is the utter nonsense that gets passed along as the Creationists try vainly to debunk models of evolution.
That's a big difference, I hope you keep it in mind when you're reading and answering here.

because that's not creationism. Creationism says it took place in 6 days, 6000 years ago, and in the order of the bible (although there are two different orders of events given in the bible). so nice try, but not quite.

Don't you think bible would be more specific about it then??? I
mean, it goes over and over about trivial stuff, so why would it be so vague and open to interpretation about important things?
